15일(한국시각) 진행된 '제63회 그래미 어워즈'에서는 "프라임 타임에서 'WAP'을 소개해 드린다. 어린 친구들과 함께 보는 시청자들은 그냥 고양이를 목욕하는 노래하고 소개하면 될 것 같다"며 극강의 섹시 퍼포먼스를 예고했다.

예고한 대로 두 사람의 무대는 수위가 높았다. 앞서 신인상을 받은 메건 더 스탤리온은 금빛 의상을 입고 퍼포먼스를 선사했다. 카디비는 지난 2월 낸 'Up'으로 포문을 열었다. 이어 두 사람은 'WAP'으로 모여 트월킹으로 시선을 모았다. 선정성 논란이 있었던 'WAP'는 이날 수위를 낮춰 일부 가사를 묵음 하거나 바꿔 불렀다.
